Your device sends a coordinate so we can find venues that are equidistant by travel time. We snap it to a k-anonymity grid — at least 500 metres across, and larger where fewer people live — before storing it, and the precise coordinate is never written down. Other people in your hangout never see your location or your travel time: everyone sees their own time, plus a rounded ceiling on the group's longest trip. We never sell location data. See our
privacy policy for the details.
